As a division of General & Medical Finance Ltd, G&M International are proud to support General & Medical who have signed up to the new Inclusivity Pledge, joining an array of industry bodies and brokers to address and stand up to discrimination in the insurance sector.

We recognise the importance of this industry-wide campaign which is designed to change unevolved behaviours, creating a more inclusive working environment and addressing all forms of potential discrimination.

The pledge sets out a clear framework of desired behaviours for both leaders and their employees. In addition it looks at clear policies and procedures for reporting any inappropriate or discriminatory behaviour too.

The campaign, led by Lloyd’s and Zurich, has had 50 firms sign up to demonstrate the insurance professions’ commitment to making a positive change. Other founding signatories include trade bodies the British Insurance Brokers’ Association, the Association of British Insurers and the Lloyds’s Market Association.
